Technical Designer

Since 2022, CADAC has been part of the Dometic Group as a separate division ‘Mobile Cooking’ and responsible for the development, marketing and sales of mobile cooking appliances and accessories. A global, listed company with 9,000 employees and a turnover of EUR 2.7 billion that has long manufactured leading outdoor, home, and professional products (www.dometic.com). Thanks to this acquisition, CADAC's strength has become even greater.

This position is with the Mobile Cooking team in Duiven, The Netherlands (near the German border). If you are not working from home office, you will find a close team of almost 30 members in an open and informal working setting.

Main responsibilities

  • Product design
  • Product management
  • Global product code creation and management
  • Technical MDR using InRiver
  • Global approval requirements understandings/knowledge for gas products
  • Global gas products technical specification knowledge
  • Global user manual specification/information requirements.
  • Global product spares management
  • Global technical support relations

Required experience

  • Experience of 5-10 years in gas appliance industry, preferably development of barbecues
  • Comprehensive experience working with Solidworks
  • Experience working with Inriver
  • Experience in engineering and technical design

Education & Qualifications

  • Technical education in engineering and technical design.
  • Bachelor's degree minimum requirement, degree preferably or through experience

Required skills

  • Knowledge of the English and Dutch language at business level (verbally and written)
  • Comprehensive experience of MS-office (Outlook, Excel, Power-point, Word)
  • Inriver & SolidWorks

Required competencies

  • Team player, enthusiastic, hands-on, flexible.
  • Authenticity, enthusiasm, humor
  • Dynamism and own initiative

Working remotely is not possible looking at the nature of the work and the set-up of the team. Therefor a commuting distance of max 30 km (about 18.64 mi) is highly recommended.
