Scallops with lemon and garlic butter


  • 6 scallops, shelled and coral removed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 knobs of butter
  • 1 tsp finely chopped parsley
  • Squeeze lemon juice


Recommended CADAC cooking surface : CADAC Tapas set

Wash the scallops carefully and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Place the scallops in a mixing bowl and mix with the olive oil, crushed garlic and chopped fresh parsley. When you are ready to cook the scallops, turn on your Cadac BBQ and add the tapas dishes, pre-heat on a medium/high heat for a few minutes until extremely hot. Place the prepared scallops in the tapas dishes and lower the heat, cook for a minute and a half, then turn over and add a knob of butter to each dish and cook for a further minute and a half. Serve at once with a squeeze of lemon juice.
