Casserole pasta with tomato sauce


  • 350 g beef mince
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs or oregano
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 diced courgette
  • 2 diced peppers
  • 125 g sliced mushrooms
  • 500 ml passata
  • 2 tins of chopped tomatoes, 400 grams
  • 150 ml water
  • 350 g penne pasta
  • Grated parmesan cheese for garnish
  • Olive oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Heat the oil. Put the mince and Italian herbs in the pan and fry until browned. Add the chopped onion and fry for a few minutes before adding the vegetables and mushrooms. Fry the vegetables for a few minutes.
  2. Add the passata, diced tomatoes, water and penne. Put the lid on the pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Stir a few times in between.
  3. After 10-15 minutes, the pasta should be cooked and the dish is ready.

Garnish with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
