What warranty does CADAC offer on its products?

We offer a 5-year limited warranty on our patio grills and a 2-year warranty on camping barbecues. If you want to know if your defect or damage is covered by the warranty, please submit a warranty request via our service website. You can also send an email to info@cadacuk.com with the following information:

    • A description of the problem
    • One or more photos of the damage and which also shows the entire barbecue, since we have several variants
    • A photo or copy of your proof of purchase
    • Your address and telephone number

How do I use the CADAC pizza stone
    • Use the pizza stone with pot stand & dome, or when you have a patio BBQ replace the Thermogrills with the pizza stone.
    • Sprinkle some cake flower on the stone to prevent sticking.
    • Never place a frozen pizza on the stone.
    • Baking time depends on several aspects such as the thickness of the dough, the ingredients used for pizza toppings, weather conditions, etc.
    • If the baking process goes too fast, turn off the heat and let the pizza bake with the lid closed.
    • The stone can also be used on the BBQ grid; the baking process will just take longer.
Note: the grid can be damaged if the stone slides.
    • Never immerse the stone in water, but wipe with a wet cloth or rinse briefly.
    • Do not use detergents to clean the stone.
    • It is perfectly normal for the pizza stones to stain and darken with use.
How do I maintain the CADAC cooking surfaces?

Most of our cooking surfaces (like the paella pan and BBQ grid) have our GreenGrill ceramic coating. Always use wooden or plastic utensils to avoid damaging this coating. You can clean the surfaces in (warm) water with a soft sponge or dishwashing brush. You can also use the CADAC barbecue cleaner. Never use scourers or abrasives.

What are the advantages of gas vs charcoal?
    • A gas barbecue is immediately hot
    • Easier to clean
    • Finely adjustable temperature control (for most models) with a control knob
    • Easier to light with an automatic piezo ignition
    • Gas barbecues are allowed more often on camp sites and can also be used on a balcony or in a park
How do I maintain my CADAC barbecue?

To enjoy your CADAC product for a long time, we advise you to thoroughly clean it after each use. Use a full-length, UV-resistant cover when you do not use your BBQ. Note that our covers are water resistant but not 100% waterproof. If you do not use your BBQ for a longer period, store your barbecue in the storage bags (camping BBQ’s) or put it in a garage or shed underneath a decent BBQ cover.

Which cooking tops can be used on my CADAC barbecue?

On our website you can find the cooking tops / accessories that can be used on our barbecues. On our service website you can find the available accessories for older CADAC models. When you’re not sure which type of CADAC barbecue you have, please send us an email with a picture of your barbecue, so our customer service can advice you.

What are the advantages of non-stick foil?

The CADAC non-stick foil is designed to keep the Skottel clean and to prevent sticking. This non-stick foil will last a long time and can be cleaned in soapy water or a dishwasher.

The gas flow of my PowerPak has stopped. What can I do?

    The PowerPak is secured against leaking. When the gas valve of the PowerPak is opened while not being attached to a barbecue, it automatically blocks the gas flow. The PowerPak has to be reset (outdoors);

    1. Turn off the gas supply of the PowerPak.
    2. Unscrew the hose of the PowerPak (with supplied wrench).
    3. Insert a blunt object in the gas outlet. This eliminates the pressure in the gas pressure regulator.
    4. Screw on the hose again.
    5. NOTE: Before the gas valve on the PowerPak is opened it must be connected to a device.
What's the difference between a HP and a LP barbecue?

HP means High Pressure and a HP barbecue works directly off a gas cartridge.

Low Pressure (LP) barbecues work off a gas cylinder or Power Pak and can be connected with a regulator & hose.

What's the difference between 30mBar and 50mBar appliances?

In most EU countries the standard gas pressure is 28-37mBar. These should be used with a 30mBar regulator.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the standard gas pressure is 50mBar. Therefor you can only order 50mBar gas barbecues on our German website. These should be used with a 50mBar regulator.
