Preparation

  1. Recommended CADAC cooking surface : BBQ grill
  2. For the hamburgers, chop two slices of onion and red pepper. Add this to the minced meat and mix well. Season with salt and pepper, cover and put in the refrigerator.
  3. Cut the tomato into thin slices. Cut a portion of the goat cheese into small pieces. Mix the mustard and honey to cover the sandwiches later. Do the same with the ketchup and mayonnaise. Fry the bacon until it is crispy and then drain on kitchen paper. Cut the rest of the onion into strips and then fry them with honey or sugar in the remaining fat until they are golden brown.
  4. Make hamburgers from the minced meat mixture with your hands. Press slightly in the middle so that the meat rises evenly when it is cooked. Bake the burgers on each side for about 1 to 2 minutes. Brush the hamburger buns with oil and place them on the barbecue rack until they are lightly browned. At the end of the cooking time, place a slice of goat cheese on the burgers and let it melt.
  5. Remove the burgers from the barbecue. Spread the bottom half of the buns with the ketchup mayonnaise mixture and the top half with the honey mustard mixture. Build the burger in this order: salad, a slice of tomato, the burger, bacon and finally on top of the caramelized onions.
  6. Delicious to eat like that, but also very tasty with French fries and a fresh salad!
