  • 2 tbsp barbecue sauce, plus extra for covering bacon
  • 1½ tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 8 slices of raw bacon

Preparation

  1. Place the minced meat in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Add the chopped ​​onions and crushed garlic along with the barbecue sauce and breadcrumbs. Knead everything together well.
  2. Divide the minced meat into 4 portions and knead meatballs.
  3. Place 2 slices of bacon on top of each other so that they cross each other in the middle. Brush the bacon pieces with a little barbecue sauce. Place a meatball where the bacon crosses and press it a little flatter. Fold the bacon around the meat so that it is almost completely covered. You now have 4 meatloafs.
  4. If necessary, keep the meatloafs covered in the fridge until ready to bake. Bake the mini meatloaf on the barbecue until done.
