Ingredients
- 350 g beef mince
- 1 tsp Italian herbs or oregano
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 diced courgette
- 2 diced peppers
- 125 g sliced mushrooms
- 500 ml passata
- 2 tins of chopped tomatoes, 400 grams
- 150 ml water
- 350 g penne pasta
- Grated parmesan cheese for garnish
- Olive oil for frying
- Salt and pepper
Method
- Heat the oil. Put the mince and Italian herbs in the pan and fry until browned. Add the chopped onion and fry for a few minutes before adding the vegetables and mushrooms. Fry the vegetables for a few minutes.
- Add the passata, diced tomatoes, water and penne. Put the lid on the pan and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Stir a few times in between.
- After 10-15 minutes, the pasta should be cooked and the dish is ready.
